Avis Budget Group is seeking Product Analysts to join our E-Commerce Product organization and play a critical role in shaping data-driven decision-making across our web and mobile experiences. Reporting to the Director of Product Analytics, you will be embedded within cross-functional product pods-partnering closely with Product Managers, Designers, Engineers, and CRO teams.

You will turn data into actionable insights, helping teams understand customer behavior, identify opportunities, and measure the impact of product changes across the full digital journey.

What You'll Do:

Embedded Product Analytics

  • Partner with a specific product pod (e.g., search, pricing, checkout, mobile, post-booking) to support decision-making

  • Act as the go-to analytics partner for Product Managers and cross-functional teams

  • Translate business and product questions into structured analysis

Data Analysis & Insight Generation

  • Analyze customer behavior across web and mobile to identify trends, opportunities, and pain points

  • Perform deep-dive analyses on funnel performance, feature usage, and customer journeys

  • Combine quantitative data with qualitative inputs (research, feedback) to generate insights

Experimentation Support

  • Partner with CRO and product teams to design, measure, and analyze A/B tests and experiments

  • Define success metrics, ensure proper test setup, and evaluate results with statistical rigor

  • Translate experiment outcomes into clear recommendations and next steps

Measurement & KPI Tracking

  • Define and track key metrics for your product area (e.g., conversion, engagement, retention, revenue)

  • Build and maintain dashboards and reporting that provide clear visibility into performance

  • Ensure consistency with broader measurement frameworks and definitions

Data Quality & Instrumentation

  • Work with engineering and data teams to ensure accurate event tracking and data collection

  • Validate data integrity and troubleshoot discrepancies

  • Contribute to improving analytics frameworks and data reliability

Stakeholder Communication

  • Present insights and recommendations in a clear, concise, and compelling way

  • Simplify complex data into actionable narratives for product and business stakeholders

  • Support a culture of data literacy and self-service within product teams

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience in product analytics, digital analytics, or data analyst role within an e-commerce or digital environment

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with large datasets

  • Experience with:

    • SQL and data querying

    • Data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Power BI)

    • Product analytics tools (e.g., GA4, Adobe Analytics, Amplitude, Mixpanel)

  • Understanding of digital funnels and customer journeys

  • Familiarity with A/B testing and experimentation methodologies

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate data into insights

Preferred (Nice to Have)

  • Experience analyzing both web and mobile app data

  • Exposure to B2C and/or B2B digital products

  • Experience working in agile, product-led organizations

  • Basic knowledge of statistics and data modeling techniques

The annual starting salary for this position is between$115,000 - 125,000annually. Factors that may affect starting pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
