Job description

Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
Location: Detroit, MI
Job Type: Locum Tenens / Full-Time
Overview:
A hospital-based opportunity is available for a CRNA to provide anesthesia coverage in a high-acuity, Level I trauma setting. This role includes managing a variety of surgical cases in a collaborative, team-based environment under supervision.
Compensation:
250/hr 
Assignment Details:
Start: ASAP (upon credentialing)
Ongoing coverage for leave/vacation needs
Full-time coverage required
Schedule:
Day shifts only
Flexible shift lengths: 8, 10, or 12 hours
No call or weekend requirements
Practice Details:
Setting: Hospital-based
Trauma Level: I
EMR: Epic
Care Model: Supervised
Patient Population: Primarily adult with limited pediatrics
Case Mix & Responsibilities:
General surgery
Neurosurgical cases
Deep sedation / MAC
Ventilation management
Oversight of physician-administered regional anesthesia
Responsibilities Include:
Preoperative assessments and patient education
Administration and monitoring of anesthesia
Collaboration with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and perioperative staff
Emergency response as needed
Accurate documentation in EMR
Participation in quality and patient safety initiatives
Requirements:
Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist – Required
Active Michigan RN License (in hand) – Required
NBCRNA Board Certification – Required
BLS, ACLS, and PALS (AHA) – Required
Clean malpractice/license history – Required
Must be able to work full-time schedule – Required
NPDB Self-Query (within 30 days) – Required
No new graduates
Credentialing:
Estimated timeframe: 90–120 days (temporary privileges may be available)
