Job description


The Department of Radiology at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota is seeking a highly qualified postdoctoral Research Fellow for the CT Clinical Innovation Center, a worldwide leader in the field of CT imaging. Using state-of-the-art clinical and pre-clinical CT systems, our highly productive team investigates a wide range of CT-related topics, with a focus on developing novel, high-impact CT technologies and translating them into clinical practice, such as photon counting detector (PCD) CT and artificial intelligence (Al).
The Research Fellow would conduct research on musculoskeletal applications of PCD CT, focusing on the use of Al to enhance image quality, perform multi-energy analysis, and conduct multi-modal deep learning. The Research Fellow would have the opportunity to collaborate with radiologists, medical physicists, and Al scientists on various research projects. Additionally, the Research Fellow will have opportunities to explore various aspects of clinical medical physics, potentially including shadowing experiences.
