TravelNurseSource is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in Lima, Ohio, 45801!

Contract | Nights | 12-Hour Shifts | Every Other Weekend and Every Other Holiday | Full-Time

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct and analyze initial and ongoing patient assessments, develop individualized plans of care, implement treatments, and evaluate effectiveness for critically ill patients with multi-system organ failure and/or multisystem trauma
  • Perform nursing care associated with life-supporting technology including ventilator management, CRRT, IABP, Impella, ECMO, hemodynamic monitoring, and Swan-Ganz catheter management
  • Administer medications safely and consistently in accordance with state practice standards and facility policies and procedures
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for care coordination across hospital departments and communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members
  • Anticipate and respond to rapidly changing patient conditions using clinical judgment and evidence-based practice in alignment with the AACN Synergy Model
  • Float to other unit levels as needed and participate in ongoing quality improvement initiatives within the department
Required Qualifications
  • Current RN license in the state of practice or covered by compact licensure
  • Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) required
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) required
  • NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification required
  • Dysrhythmia Exam required prior to start (study guide available)
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • Experience with ECMO, IABP, EVD, ICP monitoring, transvenous pacing, or Impella
  • CCRN, TNCC, TCRN, PCCN, or RN-BC certification
  • Familiarity with Alaris pumps, CPAP/BiPAP, and advanced respiratory modalities
  • Experience with EPIC Electronic Health Record (EHR) system
