Department Information
Georgia Southern University's Manufacturing Engineering department stands out with its hands-on approach, covering advanced topics like robotics, automation, plant floor operations, and additive manufacturing. The Bachelor's program is unique in Georgia and sets the student up for job offers before or immediately upon graduation.
Job Summary
T he Department of Manufacturing Engineering is now accepting applications for a pool of part time instructors for the 2026-2027 academic year. The successful applicant will be asked to teach undergraduate courses in the Manufacturing Engineering Program.
Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate courses
• Applicants will teach in face-to-face modalities

Teaching assignments will be based on earned degrees and SACSCOC Faculty Credentials Guidelines.
Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Manufacturing Engineering in Industrial setting is preferred.

Proposed Salary
Commensurate with experience.
This is an exempt position paid on a monthly basis.

Conditions of Employment
