Traveling Full Service Marriott Task Force Hotel GM TempLocation: This is in the State of TN. Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Traveling Full Service Marriott Task Force Hotel General Manager (GM) to temporarily lead our property in Ft Lauderdale, FL. This role requires a hands-on leader who can quickly adapt to new environments, drive operational excellence, and uphold Marriottโ€™s high standards of guest service and brand integrity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strong leadership and direction to all hotel departments to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Maintain and enhance guest satisfaction by delivering exceptional service and addressing guest concerns promptly.
  • Ensure compliance with Marriott brand standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Manage financial performance including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control to meet or exceed revenue goals.
  • Lead, coach, and develop hotel staff to foster a positive work environment and promote team engagement.
  • Collaborate with corporate teams and local stakeholders to implement strategic initiatives and operational improvements.
  • Oversee maintenance and upkeep of the property to ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment.
  • Handle any crisis or emergency situations effectively and efficiently.
  • Travel as required to support other Marriott properties as part of the task force team.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a General Manager or in a senior leadership role within a full-service Marriott or comparable hotel brand.
  • Strong knowledge of hotel operations, including front office, food amp; beverage, housekeeping, and maintenance.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and adapt quickly to new environments and challenges.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets and P amp;L statements.
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively as part of the task force assignment.
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Marriott brand certification or training is a plus.
