Business and Technology Development Manager
Overview
We're thrilled to share an exciting opportunity for a Business & Technology Development Manager to spearhead strategic growth initiatives in the fiber-optics and data-center market! In this role, you'll have the chance to build and nurture valuable relationships with customers and partners, drive new business opportunities, and shape the roadmap for high-performance fiber-optic products that will power the next generation of network infrastructure.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with data-center operators, system vendors, and transceiver manufacturers.
  • Gain a deep understanding of customer technology roadmaps to uncover new product-development opportunities.
  • Drive strategic account plans and launch innovative fiber-optic connectivity solutions.
  • Act as a consultative partner by presenting tailored technical and commercial proposals.
  • Collaborate with Product Management and Engineering to define clear product requirements.
  • Manage multiple technology and application development programs from kickoff to delivery.
  • Represent US Conec at industry conferences, trade shows, and technical forums.

Must Haves
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field (Engineering preferred).
  • Proven success in business development or strategic partnerships.

  • Excellent presentation, communication, and relationship-management skills.
  • Solid project-management, analytical, and organizational abilities.
  • Willingness to travel frequently (25% or more).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
