TEMPORARY POSITION:
We're seeking a motivated professional to join our team on a Full-Time, Temporary (Contract or Seasonal) basis for approximately five months . This is a great opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects, gain hands-on experience, and work alongside a collaborative team during a key period.
Summary:
While applying an agency model approach, strategically collaborate with internal teams to create and then lead the implementation and coordination of assigned marketing initiatives for the Wellness Alliance brand products, and services. This position will specialize in creating email and digital marketing campaigns while playing a critical role in communicating the Wellness Alliance brand, mission, and services to key target audiences. The Wellness Alliance is an affiliate organization of the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Plan, create and execute email marketing campaigns, including copywriting, audience lists, automated emails, website updates, and creative coordination.
  • Manage the email calendar and coordinate schedules, audiences, and messaging with internal teams.
  • Support product messaging and promotional copy while maintaining brand consistency through all marketing campaigns.
  • Create and manage the paid search and retargeting campaigns to drive awareness and generate leads to improve results.
  • Understanding of AMS or CRM systems to create targeted promotions based on a member status, activity or purchases.
  • Knowledgeable in email compliance laws and best practices, including, but not limited to CAN-SPAM, CCPA, GDPR, and CASL laws.
  • Track marketing campaign performance and make suggested improvements based on results.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
No formal supervisory responsibilities; however, incumbent may be required to train/mentor more junior staff members.
Requirements
Required Education/ Experience:
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or a related field with at least five (5) years of successful experience in marketing communications, advertising, copywriting and/or public relations. Agency experience is a plus.
  • Proven experience in marketing writing with demonstrated proficiency to curate unique copy for various target audiences and marketing channels.
  • Strong knowledge of the terminology concepts of direct marketing and an excellent command of current office software.
  • Experience with and solid understanding of integrated database programs such as AMS/CRM, and Marketing Automation software such as Informz, Eloqua, Constant Contact, Mail Chimp or Hubsput. Knowledge of other analytical tools is a plus.
  • Successful hands-on experience with email marketing, direct mail and digital/interactive media such as SEO, paid search, and retargeting advertising.

The International Foundation will always consider candidates with an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
Minimum Qualifications/Skills:
  • Proven ability to lead, develop, and manage marketing campaigns across several cross-functional teams.
  • Strong team player with excellent communication skills (both oral and written).
  • Creative, self-motivated with excellent organization skills, and the ability to multi-task while working in a diverse business environment.
  • Strong computer literacy with proficiency in Word and Excel.

Travel Requirements: This temporary position is not expected to travel.
Hybrid Work Environment: This position is expected to work from our corporate headquarters office in Brookfield, WI. This is an environment with typical office conditions, including lighting, noise, seating and equipment.
New hires are expected to be fully onsite during the training period. Then, once fully trained, the Foundation operates on a 60/40 Hybrid schedule; with 60% being onsite at our headquarters in Brookfield (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays); and up-to 40% being optionally remote (Mondays and Fridays) and as business needs allow.
