Job description

Coordinate and oversee the daily work of engineering specialists. Consult, recommend and assist in design of communication, measurement or gas quality solutions. Install, maintain, calibrate, monitor, troubleshoot and repair various types of electronic and mechanical equipment associated with a natural gas pipeline system. Work with company departments to interface systems with new and existing equipment. Responsible for placing safety as #1 priority in day to day work routine for self and others.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Must possess a working knowledge of technology concepts normally acquired through the completion of a two-year degree in engineering, electronics, communication or related field; and 
  • Eight years of experience and increasing responsibility, including project supervision.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
  • Must take all measures necessary to protect networks, devices, programs and data from cyber-attack, damage or unauthorized access.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States, no sponsorships considered.
  • Required to maintain a valid driver’s license.
  • May be subject to the Company’s DOT Substance Abuse Testing Program.
  • Requires travel: Moderate (25% - 50%)
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Oversees projects when needed.
  • Installs, maintains, calibrates, monitors, troubleshoots, and repairs various types of field equipment to support the system.
  • Ensures compliance with company and department policies, procedures, and standards; and government regulations.
  • Instructs new employees in proper use of equipment and systems.
  • Performs other tasks and special projects as assigned.
