Brief Summary of Work for this Position
The Educational Technology Support provides technical support for educational technologies and digital portfolio systems that support the Watson College of Education's academic, instructional, and operational goals. The position collaborates with faculty, staff, students, and institutional partners to develop technology resources, deliver professional development, support system administration and technical operations, analyze technology needs, and implement solutions that enhance teaching, learning, accessibility, and student success. The support also assists with project management, coordinates educational technology initiatives and distance education support activities, supervises graduate hourly employees, and contributes to the ongoing planning, assessment, and continuous improvement of Educational Technology Unit services and programs.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
Graduation from a two-year technical college with a major in an Information Technology field and one year of experience in the information technology field related to the position's role; or graduation from a four-year college or university and one year of experience in the information technology field related to the position's role; or graduation from a four-year college or university with a major in an Information Technology area. Related information technology experience may be substituted year for year for the required education.
