Our prime candidate has experience in drywall repair, finishing, and painting. We are looking for someone who has an eye for detail. Job Summary

A seasonal laborer for paint repair who performs temporary, hands-on tasks to maintain, prep, and restore surfaces on buildings and structures. Responsibilities typically include scraping old paint, patching drywall, sanding, applying primer, and finishing topcoats, while assisting maintenance crews with general site cleanup and setup.

Key Responsibilities

  • Surface Preparation: Scrape, sand, wire-brush, power-wash, and repair damaged surfaces (e.g., spackling drywall, filling holes, and caulking).
  • Painting: Apply high-quality primers, paints, and protective coatings to interior and exterior surfaces using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
  • Site Cleanup: Protect surrounding areas with drop cloths, tape, and plastic. Ensure work areas are cleaned, debris is removed, and equipment is properly stored.
  • General Labor: Assist full-time maintenance staff with other facility repairs, event setups, and groundskeeping tasks as needed.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA and site safety standards, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and Safety Data Sheets (SDS).

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Experience: Previous experience in construction, general labor, or commercial/residential painting is highly preferred.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs), and safely perform physical duties like standing, bending, and working at heights.
  • Work Environment: Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions and inside construction/renovation environments.
  • Licensure: Valid Driver's License and a clean driving record may be required for operating company vehicles.
  • Age: Minimum 18 years of age.

Physical & Environmental Demands
