Job description

We are currently seeking Drywall Carpenters for temporary-to-permanent positions. Candidates must have strong experience with measures, cuts, installs, and finishes drywall panels to create smooth interior walls and ceilings. They work closely with construction teams to ensure structures are properly prepared and finished according to design specifications.

Pay is $24-26 an hour

Key Responsibilities:

  • Measure and cut drywall panels to fit specific spaces
  • Install drywall sheets on walls and ceilings using screws, nails, or adhesives
  • Tape and seal joints between drywall panels
  • Apply joint compound and smooth surfaces
  • Sand, patch, and repair damaged drywall
  • Install metal or wooden framing as needed
  • Read blueprints and construction plans
  • Ensure surfaces are level, smooth, and ready for painting or finishing
  • Follow safety procedures and building codes

Qualifications:

  • Experience with drywall tools (taping knives, sanders, saws)
  • Knowledge of construction methods and materials
