Job description

Supervise the daily underground workload. Ensure the drops are completed by customer specifications.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

-Locates are done

-Work is printed and distributed daily

-Jobs are coded out each day

-QC contractors work {min 10%}

-Admin control of the Fleet Vehicle

-Admin control of phones

Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

-To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:

-Analytical - Synthesizes complex or diverse information; Collects and researches data; Uses intuition and experience to complement data; Designs workflows and procedures.

-Problem Solving - Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; Gathers and analyzes information skillfully; Develops alternative solutions; Works well in group problem solving situations; Uses reason even when dealing with emotional topics.

-Technical Skills - Assesses own strengths and weaknesses; Pursues training and development opportunities; Strives to continuously build knowledge and skills; Shares expertise with others.

-Construction background

-Ability to read maps and design maps

-Knowledge of cable installation

-Must have a basic command of the English language to understand the safety requirements of the position

-21 years of age or older.

-Valid driver's license.

-Ability to pass motor vehicle, drug screen and background check
