Job Description
The System Offices is one of several system members within the Texas A&M University System representing one of the largest systems of higher education in the nation, with a network of 12 universities, a comprehensive health science center, nine state agencies, and the RELLIS Campus. Job Description Summary:
The Program Aide provides part time programmatic and administrative support for the Center for Advanced Communications and Networks (CACN). This position assists with coordination of program activities, preparation of materials and documentation, data tracking, and routine operational support. The role requires the ability to work independently with limited supervision while supporting recurring CACN programs and initiatives.
This position is for six months; hours not to exceed 19 per week. This is a temporary, non-student, non-benefits eligible position.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with coordination and logistical support for CACN programs, events, and outreach activities.
- Support scheduling, communications, and tracking related to program participation.
- Draft, format, edit, and organize routine program documents, reports, and correspondence.
- Perform data entry and maintain records using Excel, SharePoint, and other CACN systems.
- Assist with website or digital content updates as directed.
- Provide general administrative support and perform related duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Experience providing administrative or program support.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
- Attention to detail skills.
- Organizational skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications.
- Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting programs, events, or outreach activities.
- Experience with document formatting, reporting, or content support.
- Familiarity with basic website or digital content management.
