Job description

Temporary General Laborer - Potential for Full Time Employment

Wisconsin Aluminum Foundry is seeking dependable, hardworking individuals to join our manufacturing team on 2nd shift. This is a temporary position designed to help support our production needs, with the opportunity to transition into a full-time position based on attendance, performance, and business needs.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain manufacturing experience, learn new skills, and demonstrate their abilities in a fast-paced foundry environment. No two days are exactly the same, and employees may be assigned to different departments based on production needs.

Shift
Monday – Friday
2:00 PM – 10:00 PM

Starting Pay
$20.00 per hour + 1.25 shift premium

As a Temporary Production Associate, you may perform a variety of duties throughout our foundry, including:

  • Grinding, sanding, and finishing aluminum castings using hand and power tools
  • Inspecting castings for quality and removing excess material
  • Loading, unloading, and moving castings, molds, and materials throughout the facility
  • Operating overhead cranes, forklifts, hoists, and other production equipment (training provided where applicable)
  • Assisting with mold preparation, core setting, shakeout, and other foundry production processes
  • Performing general labor duties, including lifting, stacking, sorting, cleaning, and packaging finished products
  • Supporting multiple departments based on daily production needs
