The ideal candidate is fluent in both English and Spanish, possesses exceptional attention to detail, and has experience ensuring content is culturally relevant, accurate, and aligned with established brand standards.

Responsibilities

  • Edit, proofread, and review English, Spanish-language, and bilingual communications for accuracy, clarity, consistency, and audience appropriateness.

  • Ensure content aligns with brand voice, style guidelines, and campaign objectives.

  • Review Spanish-language materials for cultural relevance, tone, and effectiveness rather than direct word-for-word translation.

  • Support the transcreation process by adapting approved English content into Spanish while preserving messaging intent and audience engagement.

  • Collaborate with marketing, communications, and cross-functional teams to ensure content accuracy and consistency.

  • Manage revisions through multiple review and approval stages while maintaining version control and quality standards.

  • Verify the accuracy of names, dates, legal language, contact information, web addresses, and other critical content elements.

  • Balance multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced production environment while maintaining a high level of precision.

Required Skills

  • Fluency in both English and Spanish, with excellent written communication skills in both languages.

  • Strong proofreading, copy-editing, and content review experience.

  • Experience reviewing bilingual content and evaluating transcreated materials.

  • Thorough knowledge of grammar, spelling, punctuation, and style standards in both English and Spanish.

  • Ability to maintain exceptional attention to detail while working under tight deadlines.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, tracked changes, and document review workflows.

  • Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting direct response marketing, fundraising, nonprofit communications, or customer-focused marketing campaigns.

  • Familiarity with AP Style or other established editorial standards.

  • Experience reviewing content for multicultural or bilingual audiences.

  • Background working within marketing, communications, publishing, or content production environments.

How to Apply

Qualified candidates are encouraged to submit their resume for confidential consideration. We welcome professionals who are passionate about producing high-quality bilingual content and thrive in collaborative, deadline-driven environments.
