Job description

Industrial Control Panel Wiring Specialist

Compensation: $23–$28 per hour, based on experience

Hours: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM

Shift: First

A day in this role

You start your morning reviewing JIC and IEC schematics, planning your layout for a custom control panel. Tools organized, you execute clean, point‑to‑point terminations—labeling, stripping, crimping, and routing multiconductor cable through trays, conduit, and relay panels. After assembly, you power up the panel, verify I/O, run multimeter checks, and complete dielectric testing as needed. You capture results in quality documentation and huddle with production, quality, and project management to keep builds on schedule.

Current openings
  • Large equipment assembly wiring: end‑to‑end point‑to‑point wiring on complex industrial machinery.
  • Relay‑panel wiring: precision layout and wiring inside relay and control enclosures.
What you will do
  • Interpret point‑to‑point wiring diagrams and electrical schematics accurately.
  • Lay out components and build custom electrical control panels from the ground up.
  • Perform neat, labeled terminations; cut, strip, and crimp to specification.
  • Route single and multi‑conductor cables through trays and conduit with excellent workmanship.
  • Install and wire devices within relay panels; verify placement and connections.
  • Energize, troubleshoot, and resolve wiring issues on control panels and large equipment.
  • Test using a multimeter and applicable dielectric test equipment; record results.
  • Complete quality checklists and maintain precise build and test documentation.
  • Identify, correct, and prevent wiring or assembly defects.
  • Keep a safe, orderly, and clean work area; communicate build status to leadership.
  • Partner with production, quality, and project teams to meet delivery commitments.
What you bring
  • Hands‑on experience in electrical panel building or industrial wiring (required).
  • Five or more years in custom control‑panel fabrication (preferred).
  • Proficiency with point‑to‑point and panel wiring techniques.
  • Ability to read JIC/IEC schematics and translate them into precise builds.
  • Solid grasp of electrical theory, testing methods, and troubleshooting.
  • Comfort using multimeters; experience with dielectric testing is a plus.
  • High attention to detail and a quality‑first mindset.
  • Basic computer literacy, including Microsoft Office.
  • Clear communication skills and practical problem‑solving ability.
  • A valid driver’s license is required.
Benefits
  • 401(k)
  • 401(k) matching
  • Dental insurance
  • Health insurance
  • Paid time off
Workplace compliance

Must be able to meet drug-free workplace requirements.
