Job description

CNC Machinist
Automation Personnel Services is looking for talented, energetic CNC Machinists for a fast-paced growing organization based in Lewisburg, TN. In this role, you will support the daily manufacturing work schedule, meeting all goals of safety, quality, delivery, and cost.

Pay Rate 
$18.00 to $30.00 per hour

Schedule and Hours 
2nd Shift Monday through Friday, 2 15 pm to 12 45 am.

CNC Machinist Duties and Responsibilities
  • Perform product changeovers including CNC program selections, cutting tool selections, and part checking methods and procedures.
  • Produce machined parts per job traveler and prints.
  • Perform necessary quality checks of parts including the effective use of calipers, micrometers and complex functional gauges.
  • Perform operator PM to maintain proper machinery operation.
  • Accurately complete all necessary forms and reporting paperwork.
  • Maintain a clean work area including daily cleaning of floors and machinery within the assigned work area.

CNC Machinist Qualifications and Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Trade School Certificate and 2 years of machining experience or 5 years of machining experience.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs with ease.
  • Must pass a MVR, drug test, and criminal background check.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Strong math and print interpretation skills.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.
