Job description

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree in related discipline or equivalent years of experience
  • At least 10 years of progressive experience in commissioning activities such as: Utility infrastructure, mechanical and plumbing systems, building automation systems/controls, building/facility systems/components, and facility O&M. Mission Critical Experience is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of ASHRAE, NFPA, and TAB process mechanical testing and code requirements
  • US Citizenship
  • Ability to travel up to 50%; travel may include multi-week field assignments and periodic long-term assignments may be required
  • Industry-recognized commissioning certification is a plus

Responsibilities:

As a Commissioning Specialist on our team, you will participate in both onsite and office activities to support Commissioning projects. You will have the opportunity to lead and perform all commissioning-related activities, to include testing (QA/QC, Functional Performance), equipment and systems start-up, resulting in a safe and functional environment that meets established design requirements and stakeholder expectations. Projects that you will engage with will include commissioning for new construction and renovations, existing building commissioning, and asset management projects. You will have the responsibility of working directly with the clients, project stakeholders, and contractors to achieve the best possible outcome for the owner/client with a focus on operational performance and efficiency.
