Job description


We are seeking a detail-oriented Mail Processing & Administrative Clerk to support daily mailing operations and employee record processing. This role combines administrative responsibilities with the operation of mail processing equipment to ensure accurate timekeeping, inventory tracking, and timely mail distribution.
What You'll Do
• Review, enter, and maintain employee time, attendance, labor, and production records
• Receive and track materials and inventory using company software
• Operate mail processing equipment, including inserters, folding machines, cutters, die-cutting machines, and postage meters
• Prepare and set up equipment for production runs and monitor machine performance
• Sort, fold, insert, meter, and distribute mail according to job requirements
• Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and ensure machines are operating safely and efficiently
• Answer incoming phone calls and accurately direct messages
• Provide backup support for billing and other clerical functions as needed
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Support cross-functional department needs and perform other duties as assigned
