We are looking for a temporary janitorial cleaner to join our team for 10 weeks. As a janitorial cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our facilities. In our buildings in Purchase NY. Build your career in the commercial building janitorial field! We are looking for a motivated, flexible, and professional candidate to work as an Alliance temporary janitorial worker. You will be responsible for the successful delivery of all aspects of maintenance services in our client facilities in order to guarantee a spotless environment. Maintenance services include client spaces, public areas, and restroom maintenance. We have day and evening positions available

Responsibilities include:

Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting floors and surfaces

- Emptying trash bins and recycling containers

- Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, kitchens, and common areas

- Replenishing supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper

- Reporting any damages, repairs, or safety issues to the supervisor

- Following health and safety protocols and wearing protective equipment

- Moving furniture and equipment as needed

- Performing minor maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs or fixing leaks

- Assisting with event setup and cleanup

- Performing other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Requirements:

Have at least one year of experience as a janitorial cleaner or porter

- Be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays

- Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for long periods of time

- Be reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented

- Have good communication and interpersonal skills
