Job description

Connect Staffing is hiring a converting operator for a vinyl graphic manufacturing facility in Placentia, CA. This is a temp-to-hire 2nd shift position paying $22/hr. In this role, you will work in the Converting Department supporting slitter operators, building boxes for shop orders, packing finished goods, and keeping raw materials flowing to the line.
Pay: $22.00/hr
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 2:00 PM-10:30 PM; weekend availability required
Location: Placentia, CA

Responsibilities
  • Work in the Converting Department of a vinyl graphic manufacturing facility, supporting production flow across packaging and material handling tasks.
  • Build and assemble boxes to fulfill shop orders.
  • Pack finished goods and apply labels for outbound shipment.
  • Locate and stage raw materials to support packaging operations.
  • Assist slitter operators with converting department tasks as directed.
  • Maintain pace with a high-volume production floor.

Minimum Requirements
  • Minimum 6 months of experience in a manufacturing, production, or warehouse environment.
  • High school diploma or GED.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in a converting, printing, or graphics manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with slitting, die-cutting, or roll-to-roll production equipment.
  • Experience packing and labeling finished goods for shipment.
  • Ability to read and follow shop orders or production work orders.
  • Experience in a 2nd shift or swing-shift manufacturing environment.
