Blue Origin is pioneering the future of space-based communications with TeraWave, a revolutionary satellite communications network designed to deliver symmetrical data speeds of up to 6 Tbps anywhere on Earth. This multi-orbit constellation will consist of optically interconnected satellites in low Earth orbit (LEO) and medium Earth orbit (MEO), providing enterprise-grade connectivity for critical operations worldwide.

Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior Staff or Principal AMS Design Verification Engineer to lead the mixed-mode design verification methodology. You will be responsible for defining the co-simulation EDA environment, the methodology to simulate complex SOCs, and for developing models for co-simulation, contributing to innovative solutions that drive Blue Origin's mission of enabling millions to live and work in space for the benefit of Earth.

- This role is based on site in San Diego (preferred), CA; the Bay Area, CA; or Renton, WA. A temporary remote work exception is approved while our Bay Area and San Diego sites are being developed.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Define the co-simulation methodology and EDA infrastructure working with analog and digital teams.
  • Create Verilog/SystemVerilog test benches and behavioral models of analog and mixed-mode circuits.
  • Develop methodologies for block- and chip-level mixed-mode verification
  • Support analog and digital teams during model bring-up and usage
  • Perform AMS simulations

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related technical discipline
  • 7+ years of experience of relevant industry experience.
  • Hands-on experience in CMOS analog mixed-signal circuit design and verification.
  • Verilog / SystemVerilog modeling of functional behavior of analog/mixed-signal circuits and systems.
  • Proficient using EDA tools and environments such as Cadence Virtuoso for schematic creation and simulation.
  • Proficient with scripting / programming languages such as Python and MATLAB.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as arefugee or granted asylum.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MS or PhD in Computer/Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience with AMS verification in advanced FinFET technology nodes

Base Pay Range for:

CA applicants is $230,398.00 - $322,556.85 WA applicants is $230,398.00 - $322,556.85
