Our SelectLeaders client is a well-established real estate organization. They are seeking a Chief Financial Officer to serve as a strategic partner to ownership and a trusted advisor to senior leadership.

About the Role

The CFO will lead the organization's financial, capital, and risk management functions while playing an active role in shaping long-term strategy. This is a broad, high-visibility position for a finance leader who wants to influence decision-making beyond the numbers by strengthening reporting, driving process improvement, and modernizing the finance function through automation and technology.

Responsibilities:
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to leadership on financial and business decisions

  • Participate in evaluating investment and capital allocation decisions

  • Guide capital strategy, including financing, investor relationships, and partnership structuring

  • Oversee treasury, cash flow, and overall capital structure

  • Provide leadership over financial reporting, compliance, and internal controls

  • Support oversight of core business operations from a financial standpoint

  • Guide tax, HR, and risk/insurance strategy in partnership with outside advisors

  • Lead modernization efforts for technology and financials. 

  • Build and manage a high-performing finance team

Qualifications:
  • Substantial real estate finance experience, including prior CFO or senior finance leadership experience

  • A track record of strengthening financial infrastructure and reporting in a growing organization

  • CPA or MBA a plus, not required
  • Strong business judgment paired with high emotional intelligence and communication skills

  • A collaborative leadership style. 

  • Must be able to work in office five days a week.
Compensation:
  • Base range: $250,000 - $375,000
