Job Description: Press Operator / General Machine Operator (Automotive Parts Manufacturing) $12.50 an hour. Full Time Spot Welders
This is for the robotic weld department and will be learning the parts and the process the first week by running a robot. After the first week they then will move to learning our forklift procedures and operations to maintain production flow and optimal performance for our production associates.
Position Overview:
We are seeking highly motivated Press Operators and General Machine Operators to join our automotive parts manufacturing team. As a Press Operator / General Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various machines used in the production of car parts. This is a full-time position on the 1st shift, with a workweek of 50 hours, from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday, and some Saturdays.
3rd shift Sun-Thursday 7:30pm-6:00 Fri 9:30pm to 6am. We also offer part time!!!
Machine Setup and Operation:
Set up and adjust press machines and other manufacturing equipment according to product specifications.
Operate press machines to fabricate automotive parts, ensuring precise measurements and adherence to quality standards.
Monitor machine operations and make necessary adjustments to maintain efficiency and product quality.
Quality Control:
Inspect finished products for defects, ensuring they meet the required specifications and quality standards.
Perform regular quality checks throughout the production process to identify any deviations or issues.
Report any product non-conformities to supervisors and collaborate on corrective actions.
Troubleshooting:
Troubleshoot minor technical issues during machine operation and take appropriate corrective actions.
Notify maintenance or engineering staff of any major equipment malfunctions that require attention.
Safety and Compliance:
Adhere to all safety protocols, regulations, and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
Utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) as required while operating machines.
Participate in safety training and promote a culture of safety within the team.
Production Efficiency:
Meet production targets and quotas within the given timeframe, striving for maximum efficiency.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and minimize downtime.
Suggest process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
