Job Summary
Prepares and dispenses prescribed medications under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist while ensuring excellence in patient care, patient safety, and patient satisfaction. Adheres to all state, federal, organizational, and departmental regulations and guidelines.
Minimum Qualifications
Education/Specialized Training/Licensure:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Registered by Texas State Board of Pharmacy & in good standing
  • IV Certification preferred
  • MTM Certification preferred

Work Experience:
  • Minimum 1 year experience as a Pharmacy Technician; 2 years preferred

Special Requirements
Communication Skills:
  • Above average verbal skills (heavy public contact)

Other Skills:
  • Mathematics, Medical Terminology, PC proficiency

Work Schedule:
  • Weekends, holidays, flexible, overtime, travel
