A Temporary Ben Taub RN is a registered nurse who is hired on a temporary or contract basis to work at Ben Taub Hospital, a major public hospital in Houston, Texas. These nurses provide essential care to patients, often filling in for staffing shortages or during peak periods. Temporary RNs perform the same duties as permanent staff nurses, such as administering medications, monitoring patient health, and collaborating with healthcare teams. Temporary RNs may also work varying shifts and float between different units as needed, which requires flexibility and strong communication skills.
