Job description

The Amazon Global Logistics Analytics team drives multiple core and advanced science initiatives for Fulfillment By Amazon (FBA). The approach and technology are disruptive, challenging traditional methods and transforming industry operations. Amazon seeks an exceptional Business Intelligence Engineer to support Sales, Marketing, and Pricing analytics for Global Logistics.

This individual will build new business intelligence solutions end-to-end. The ideal candidate will be passionate about working with big data sets and have the expertise to derive insights, answer business questions, and drive growth.
Key job responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scaled, automated, user-friendly systems, reports, dashboards, etc. to support analytical and business needs for customer promise and operations.
Use analytical and statistical rigor to solve complex problems and drive business decisions to achieve strategic goals.
Write high-quality SQL code to retrieve and analyze data from database tables (e.g., Redshift, MySQL, Oracle), and understand Amazon's data resources to determine appropriate usage.
Develop queries and visualizations for ad-hoc requests, projects, and ongoing reporting.
In addition to leading the design, development, and management of analytical tools and reporting, the successful candidate will provide thought leadership and business analysis support as needed

They will demonstrate strong business acumen, experience in developing reporting and analytical infrastructures, excellent communication skills, the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, and the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
