The Amazon Tech Deployment (TD) PACE (Product, Analytics and Customer Experience) team within S&O (Strategy and Operations) Organization is seeking a senior product manager - technical (PM-T) to drive customer relationship and product strategy. This PM-T will focus on AI Tools and Insights, that facilitate the organization in making data driven bar raising decisions. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with some of the best engineers in the industry and shape the direction of one of the world's largest robotics driven fulfillment networks.
TD is a multifaceted organization composed of teams which invent for rapid scaling of complex technical solutions, develop products for industrial equipment automation, and provide business intelligence analytics and tooling

These hardware and software tools improve deployment quality, cost, speed and add features that reduce complexity for ease of use and operational excellence.
The focus of this Sr. PM-T role is the software products, systems, tools, and AI Agents used to manage deployment of Amazon fulfillment center technology globally.

These software products are leveraged by Amazon internal project managers, Amazon internal program managers, and internal and external installers. The scope of these products include functionality such as: project initiation, project planning, project execution, project monitoring & control, project budgeting, mobile application access, standard work instruction, task automation, and accessibility. The products standardize, track, and enables automation in deployment execution which improves reliability and repeatability of Amazon's deployment and testing processes.

PM-Ts are expected to listen attentively and speak candidly. Those conversations start with our customers and work backwards to collaborate with our development teams in the TD organization. Our PM-Ts seek data and diverse perspectives and use that insight to respectfully challenge decisions.

Key job responsibilities
- Define and drive AI product strategy across the Tech Deployment lifecycle, leveraging GenAI and machine learning technologies to build innovative products/services that support growth and optimize workflows, and continuously drive product success post launch.
- Translate complex AI/ML capabilities into intuitive product experiences, clearly defining product requirements that balance technical feasibility with user needs and business impact.
- Drive responsible AI practices, ensuring products meet quality, fairness, and safety standards while delivering business value.
- Work with technology teams to develop AI products, evaluate AI/ML model performance, resolve issues, and manage development cycles with understanding of AI product development lifecycle.
- Translate emerging model and platform capabilities into shippable features that meet the technical, science, and quality bar our creative partners require.
- Partner daily with engineering, applied science, and design to sequence and ship a roadmap tied to measurable outcomes.
- Define success metrics and KPIs for AI products, establishing frameworks to measure product performance, user adoption, and business impact post-launch
- Make build-versus-integrate and prioritization calls under real constraints, balancing near-term delivery needs against building a durable, scalable platform.
- Communicate at the right altitude, from detailed product reviews to executive narratives and live demos, and report progress through our business review mechanisms.
- Stay current with AI/ML trends and emerging technologies, identifying opportunities to incorporate new capabilities into the product roadmap.
A day in the life
- Manage stakeholder and leadership communications including problem statement and analysis, AI solution review, business/impact review, budget/HC planning, stakeholder change management, etc.
- Write the narratives that define what we build and why - PR/FAQs, PRDs, tenets, and success metrics - and drive them through delivery and QA with Engineering and Science.
- Collaborate with and earn trust from internal stakeholders and external partners, including data scientists and ML engineers, to design and align AI-powered system solutions
