Position Summary
The Global Field Representative is responsible for acting as a liaison between Intra Aerospace and all suppliers.
Primary Responsibilities
  • Supervise emergent offload/overload suppliers including external processors, machine shop to ensure schedule compliance and product conformity.
  • Identify, establish and maintain priorities for deliveries of products, services and data that support vital supplier contractual corrective actions and resolution of issues (e.g., poor schedule performance, product and producibility issues) to ensure contractual compliance.
  • Communicate across functions (e.g., procurement agents, suppliers, internal customers, field quality, engineering, manufacturing) to report status and concerns.
  • Co-facilitate with the supplier and procurement agent the development of a recovery plan and unplanned demand requirements.
  • Identify needs for training on business and manufacturing practices (e.g., requirements interpretation and clarification, contractual compliance, scheduling tools, technical skills, self-assessment) to supplier personnel for improvement or enhancement delivery performance.
  • Participate with the procurement agent in on-site supplier assessments (e.g., Preferred Supplier Certification, Proof of Process and Rate Readiness) to identify supplier capacity and capability to perform current and projected work statement and support Intra Aerospace procurement strategy.
  • Monitor suppliers' performance-to-plan to ensure compliance to contractual requirements and provide status back to supervisor and procurement agent.
  • Identify and communicate opportunities to implement new processes or improves existing processes and report back to management and make recommendation to procurement agent.
  • Assess supplier resource plan and reports results to supervisor/procurement agent.
  • Support supplier work movements to ensure seamless execution.

Education and Experience
  • Associate degree or two to five (2 - 5) years of scheduling and/or production management
