Position Summary

The Claims Support Representative provides operational and customer service support across the Claims Department. This position serves as an entry point into the insurance industry and offers broad exposure to claims operations, customer communications, business processes, and administrative support.

Responsibilities may include claim intake, First Notice of Loss (FNOL) processing, customer and agent communications, document management, reporting, compliance support, vendor payment processing, and various administrative duties.

This role is designed to provide cross-functional training and may serve as a pathway to future opportunities within Claims, Operations, Compliance, Customer Service, and Claims Adjusting.

Location:  Jacksonville, FL, Jericho, NY, or Omaha, NE

What You'll Do

Customer Service & Claims Support

  • Receive and process First Notice of Loss (FNOL) reports through phone and digital reporting channels.
  • Create and maintain claim records within company systems.
  • Respond to incoming calls and communications from policyholders, agents, vendors, and internal partners.
  • Research and resolve customer inquiries while providing a professional and positive experience.
  • Escalate complex issues appropriately while ensuring timely resolution.
  • Support claims operations by gathering, documenting, and maintaining accurate information.

Administrative & Operational Support

  • Process claim file document requests and maintain electronic claim records.
  • Route and manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, emails, and mail.
  • Assist with vendor payments, stop payments, arbitration matters, CLUE reporting, and regulatory compliance requests.
  • Prepare reports, spreadsheets, tracking documents, and departmental performance data.
  • Support document indexing, filing, scanning, and records management activities.
  • Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and maintain departmental documentation as needed.
  • Assist with special projects and additional assignments within the Claims Department.
