En tant qu’Ingénieur·e Méthodes et Travaux Temporaires, vous créerez des solutions pratiques, sécuritaires et rentables qui permettent à nos équipes de btir des infrastructures complexes. De la conception des ouvrages temporaires à l’optimisation des méthodes d’exécution, vous jouerez un rôle essentiel dans la performance et la sécurité des opérations terrain.

As a Temporary Works & Methods Engineer, you will create practical, safe, and costeffective solutions that enable our crews to build complex infrastructure. From designing temporary structures to optimizing work methods, you’ll play a key role in ensuring smooth, safe, and successful field operations.

  • Élaborer des stratégies de construction adaptées aux contraintes du projet et proposer des séquences d’exécution sécuritaires et efficaces.
  • Rédiger les documents techniques : méthodes de travail, analyses de risques, procédures constructives et notes d’ingénierie.
  • Examiner les plans et exigences contractuelles afin de déterminer les ouvrages temporaires nécessaires aux différentes phases du chantier.
  • Développer des solutions techniques (coffrages, étaiements, dispositifs de levage, soutènements d’excavation, passerelles et ponts temporaires, gabarits, systèmes d’accès, etc.).
  • Travailler de pair avec les dessinateurs et techniciens pour produire plans, modèles 3D et dessins de fabrication.
  • Effectuer ou vérifier les calculs liés aux structures temporaires et assurer leur conformité aux normes applicables.
  • Encadrer les ingénieurs juniors dans la préparation des documents techniques.
  • Participer aux revues internes de qualité et au processus d’approbation des documents.
  • Offrir un soutien technique continu aux équipes de chantier, incluant visites terrain, validations et certificats de conformité.
  • Représenter l’expertise technique auprès des partenaires, consultants et intervenants du projet.
  • Develop projectspecific construction strategies and propose safe, efficient work sequences.
  • Prepare technical documentation including method statements, risk assessments, construction procedures, and engineering notes.
  • Review drawings and contract requirements to identify all temporary works needed throughout the project phases.
  • Design temporary systems such as formwork and shoring, lifting and jacking arrangements, excavation support, temporary bridges, access systems, pile templates, and similar structures.
  • Work closely with technicians and designers to produce drawings, 3D models, and fabrication details.
  • Perform and/or review engineering calculations to ensure compliance with all project specifications, codes, and standards.
  • Mentor junior engineers in the preparation of technical deliverables.
  • Contribute to internal quality reviews and document approval processes.
  • Provide ongoing technical support to field teams, including site visits, inspections, and compliance certifications.
  • Serve as a knowledgeable resource for project stakeholders, consultants, and construction partners.

  • Licence d’ingénieur·e professionnel·le (P.Eng. ou équivalent).
  • Minimum 3 ans d’expérience pertinente en génie civil, construction lourde ou infrastructures.
  • Maîtrise des outils de conception structurale ainsi que d’AutoCAD et Revit.
  • Bonne compréhension des méthodes de construction et de l’ingénierie des ouvrages temporaires.
  • Excellentes compétences en coordination, communication, résolution de problèmes et analyse.
  • Sens de l’initiative, autonomie et capacité à évoluer dans un environnement complexe et dynamique.
  • Approche rigoureuse, souci du détail et engagement envers les standards de qualité et de sécurité.
  • Professional Engineering license (P.Eng. or equivalent).
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in civil engineering, heavy civil construction, or infrastructure.
  • Proficiency in structural analysis tools along with AutoCAD and Revit.
  • Strong understanding of construction methods and temporary works engineering.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, problemsolving, and coordination abilities.
  • Selfdriven, detailoriented, and comfortable working in complex and fastpaced environments.
  • Commitment to quality, accuracy, and safety standardss
