Temporary Commercial Litigation Attorney ? Hybrid | Texas (Mostly Remote) ? Contract | 2-3 Months | Potential Temp to Hire A Texas based, entrepreneurial boutique business law firm with offices in Texas and California is seeking a Temporary Commercial Litigation Attorney to assist a senior Commercial Litigation Attorney in wrapping up active projects. This is a hands on role ideal for a seasoned litigator who can step in quickly, work independently, and deliver high quality work with minimal ramp up. Compensation & Engagement Details • Pay rate: $90-$150 per hour (DOE) • Length of assignment: 2-3 months • Potential temp to hire for an outstanding candidate • Hybrid schedule: Mostly remote with occasional in office collaboration • Work hours: 8:00am-5:00pm or 9:00am-6:00pm (flexible) • Concurrent work: Preferred no, but negotiable • Firm issued laptop provided ________________________________________ Qualifications • Active Texas Bar license in good standing (required) • 6-7 years of Commercial Litigation experience, specifically business to business matters o No insurance defense backgrounds, please • Strong experience handling: o Written discovery o Drafting and responding to discovery o Discovery objections o Motions and pleadings • Proficient with Microsoft Word and LexisNexis • Ability to start with minimal training and hit the ground running • Must pass conflicts check ________________________________________ What You'll Be Doing • Supporting ongoing commercial litigation matters through key stages • Drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery responses • Managing discovery strategy and execution • Working closely with a Commercial Litigation Attorney to complete pending projects efficiently ________________________________________ Interview Process 1.
