Job description

Volunteers / Chaperones
Pearland ISD invites you to become a volunteer.
According to Texas Education Code, Section 22.083, Pearland ISD may obtain criminal history record information on an individual who has indicated, in writing, an intention to serve as a volunteer.
Completion of the online volunteer registration qualifies as written intent to serve as a volunteer at a designated Pearland ISD campus a release to conduct a criminal background information check. Criminal information obtained is confidential and used only for ensuring student safety.
Steps to Become a Pearland ISD Volunteer:






  1. Complete an online application in Frontline. Select the job opening for Volunteers 2026-2027 indicating the campus/campuses in which you plan to volunteer.
  2. The review process could take up to 5-7 business days. Please act in a timely manner if you plan to attend an event on a certain date.
  3. Once we approve your online application, your name will appear on the campus list you have designated. If necessary, you may contact the campus administrative assistant to confirm your volunteer status.
  4. Volunteers must re-apply each school year.

If applying for additional PISD positions, please make sure to keep the box checked for the Volunteers 2025-2026 posting. When unchecked, this indicates that you no longer wish to volunteer and your name drops from the District Approved List.
