As a Security Officer TWIC Access in Point Comfort, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and help support a professional environment through visible presence and strong communication. You will perform routine patrols, assist visitors and employees, and help to deter security-related incidents while delivering customer service with agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to all visitors, contractors, and employees by following site-specific access control procedures, badge verification steps, and security-related policies at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Control entry and exit points by verifying credentials, documenting visitor activity, issuing temporary access materials, and reporting unusual activity or access concerns to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and support emergency response activities according to post orders and location protocols.
• Monitor vehicle and pedestrian traffic at assigned gates and checkpoints, help to deter unauthorized access, and maintain accurate logs, reports, and communication records throughout the shift.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around entry areas, restricted zones, and the perimeter as assigned, noting hazardous conditions, security-related issues, and policy violations for follow-up.

Minimum Requirements:

• A TSA issued TWIC is required.
• A state, county, and/or city issued security license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
