Travel Assembler

2nd Shift: $20 - Monday–Friday 2:30 PM – 10:30 PM

3rd Shift: $21 - Sunday–Thursday 10:30 PM – 6:30 AM

📍 Grantsburg, WI

Assemblers will be traveling from their homes to Grantsburg, WI to work the assigned shift above (2nd or 3rd)

Job Title: Assembly Operator – Quick Release Couplings

Job Description

This role focuses on assembling and packaging quick release couplings in a clean, well-organized production environment. You will operate assembly equipment, verify product functionality, and uphold strict quality and safety standards while supporting continuous improvement initiatives on a fast-paced 2nd shift.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble quick release couplings according to standard work instructions and established procedures.
  • Operate all required assembly equipment and machinery safely and efficiently.
  • Package completed assemblies accurately for shipment, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
  • Verify the function and performance of products through visual inspection and basic testing to confirm they meet quality standards.
  • Follow all standard work and work instructions to maintain consistency and reliability in the production process.
  • Ensure quality standards are met at every step of the process, promptly identifying and reporting any defects or nonconformances.
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities and help implement solutions using A3 and 3-legged 5-Why problem-solving tools.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area by applying 5S principles, including sorting, setting in order, shining, standardizing, and sustaining.
  • Work in a safe manner at all times, complying with all safety policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Consistently maintain a minimum 90% daily attainment level for production and performance goals.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and support a positive, productive work environment.
  • Handle bench-type assembly tasks that may involve hand tools, machine operation, and packaging duties.
