Locums Transfusion Pathology Physician in Greenville, North Carolina - Weekday Schedule, Transfusion Medicine Focus

Focused entirely on transfusion medicine and apheresis services, this role combines weekday clinical coverage with manageable rotating consult call.


Practice & Cases


  • Transfusion medicine and apheresis-focused pathology service
  • Complex antibody workups and blood bank consultation
  • Therapeutic exchanges, massive transfusion protocols, and refractory bleeding support
  • Trauma, oncology, hematology, and obstetric hemorrhage case mix

Schedule


  • Monday through Friday coverage
  • 8:00 am to 5:00 pm schedule
  • Rotating night and weekend phone consult call
  • Ongoing coverage while permanent recruitment continues

Requirements


  • Must be an MD or DO
  • Board Certified in Pathology
  • Active North Carolina license required
  • Blood Bank or Transfusion Medicine certification preferred
