Job Title: Machine Operator - WEEKLY PAY $18 TO $22 AN HOUR

Job Description

This role operates and monitors manual and automatic metal casting machinery to produce high-quality parts that meet precise specifications. You will set up equipment, inspect products using precision tools, and perform basic finishing tasks to ensure safe, efficient, and consistent production.

Responsibilities

  • Observe the continuous operation of manual and automatic machines to ensure products meet established specifications and quality standards.
  • Detect machine malfunctions during operation and make adjustments as instructed to maintain proper performance and product quality.
  • Measure and visually inspect products for surface defects and dimensional accuracy using precision measuring instruments.
  • Set up, operate, and tend metal casting machines to cast metal parts or products according to production requirements.
  • Position and securely fasten workpieces on machines to ensure accurate and safe processing.
  • Remove finished products from dies using hand tools, air hoses, and other appropriate equipment.
  • Trim excess material from parts to achieve the required finish and dimensions.
  • Perform general production duties such as assembly, picking, packaging, and material handling as needed.
  • Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to support machine operation and product finishing.
  • Follow all safety procedures and guidelines while working around moving mechanical parts, heat, and vibration.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to support efficient production and safe operations.

Essential Skills

  • Previous machine operating experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to observe and monitor continuous machine operations and identify irregularities or malfunctions.
  • Skill in using precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions and ensure conformance to specifications.
  • Experience operating or tending metal casting machines or similar industrial equipment.
  • Capability to position and secure workpieces on machines accurately and safely.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for removing parts from dies and trimming excess material.
  • General production experience, including assembly, picking, packaging, and general labor tasks.
  • Ability to work safely around moving mechanical parts, extreme heat, and vibration.

  • Reliability to work a consistent Monday through Thursday schedule from 5:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
