Job description

A Manhattan based nonprofit organization is seeking a temporary Recruiter to join their team. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of recruiting experience, preferably within the nonprofit or legal sectors.


Pay: $45-55/hr.

Duration: 3-4 month contract with possibility of extension

On-site: 4 days in-office per week, 1 day remote

Hours: 9-5


Responsibilities:

  • Support full-cycle recruitment processes, including job postings, resume reviews, interviews, and reference checks.
  • Manage job postings on ATS and external websites.
  • Conduct phone screenings, interviews, and provide feedback on candidates.
  • Ensure effective communication and follow-up with candidates throughout the hiring process.
  • Source candidates through platforms like LinkedIn Recruiter to meet organizational hiring needs.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers and external partners to implement recruitment strategies
  • Support the management of recruitment inbox and candidate inquiries.
  • Support temporary and permanent hiring processes, including agency engagements.


Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Minimum 5 years of recruitment experience, preferably in high-volume environments.
  • Experience within nonprofit or legal industry a plus.
