Temp Pc Deployment Jobs (NOW HIRING)

Description

We are partnering with a local client to hire PC Deployment Technicians for a large-scale thin client refresh (~4,000 devices) across multiple sites in the Madison area. This is a hands-on deployment role with a mix of staging, configuration, and after-hours installation work.

Key Responsibilities

• Stage and prepare thin client devices at a central location (imaging, configuration, asset tagging)
• Perform onsite deployments, swaps, and basic setups across multiple locations
• Decommission and properly handle replaced equipment
• Join devices to Active Directory and validate connectivity
• Troubleshoot hardware/software issues during deployment
• Support end users with basic post-install questions
• Accurately track inventory and deployment progress

Schedule & Work Environment

• Training: 1–2 weeks prior to project start
• Shift: Approximately 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM
• Mix of central staging work and local travel to client sites (after-hours deployments expected)

Required Skills

• Thin client deployment experience
• Active Directory (basic join/troubleshooting)
• Device imaging and configuration
• Strong troubleshooting skills (hardware/software)

Preferred Experience

• Unicon or similar endpoint management tools
• Large-scale deployment projects
• PC refresh or migration experience

Qualifications

• Prior IT deployment or field technician experience
• Ability to follow structured processes and meet project timelines
• Reliable transportation for local site travel
• Strong communication and customer service skills

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Madison, WI.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
