About this job:
This is a temporary assignment. Dates needed: 7/16/26-8/16/26
Under general supervision, performs intermediate-level duties to support general office or school based operations, programs, and functions including: payroll, budget, data management; and maintenance of business records.

What You'll Do:
  • Performs research, data management, and reporting on school based or department data needs, Organize, extract and input data/information using district applications and other network computer software, protect privacy, confidentiality, student and employee data according to FERPA and district policy.
  • Monitor and track invoices and budget expenditures. Prepares and processes purchasing and accounting documents
  • Process payroll and timekeeping requests.
  • Provide additional support for other operational needs such as student safety, including delegated nursing duties, according to District training and procedures.
  • Respond to administrative requests. Provide information and assistance to various stakeholders which may include DPS employees, vendors, and community members.

What You'll Need:
  • High School diploma, completion of G.E.D., or equivalent, required.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Three (3) or more years' experience in administrative/clerical work or combination of education and experience.
  • Demonstrated intermediate-level knowledge and experience with computer-based spreadsheet, data base, and word processing software.
  • Demonstrated experience producing various general office documents, analysis and recommendations.
  • Bilingual skills may be required based on work location
  • Lead for racial and educational excellence and work to dismantle systems of oppression and inequity in our community, along with believing in and supporting all students so they feel seen and heard with access to high quality education.
  • Live and work with a permanent home address in Colorado while working with us.
