Job description

Job Title: inventory clerk (I-IV)
Department/Location: Warehouse/Materials
Reports To: Warehouse & Inventory Control Foreperson
FLSA Status: Non Exempt
Position Summary: Receives, stores, and distributes material and products while maintaining a clean, organized, secure, and safe Warehouse area.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
All Inventory Clerks shall maintain a clean, organized, and secure Warehouse area free of foreign objects; and follow Company safety rules and regulations, and maintain safe Warehouse area.
Data Entry (IV)
The Inventory Clerk may interact with QC Incoming Inspection and Accounts Payable and supports the Warehouse Foreperson with data entry of receiving and consumption of materials.
  • Carry out forklift driver, picker, and/or shipping and receiving responsibilities, as required;
  • Receiving data entry;
  • Consumption;
  • Pulling materials;
  • Delivering materials to production;
  • Parts identification;
  • Identify and resolve system and data issues;
  • Maintain data integrity in the system; and
  • Work with AP so solve paperwork issues.

Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.
Qualifications/requirements: Fluent in the English language in both written and oral form preferred. Must have the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and special packaging instructions. Must be familiar with proper packaging methods. Data Entry responsibilities shall require computer literacy and knowledge of MS Office.
All Inventory Clerks must have the ability to be forklift certified within 30 days of position assignment.
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS: Ability to safely and successfully perform essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
Ability to maintain reasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state and local standards.
Compliance with all personnel policies.
This position requires use of and access to information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
