Job Title: Janitorial Worker

Schedule: 1st shift (7:00am- 3:00pm)

PAY: $15 hour

Job Description

This role provides essential housekeeping and janitorial services in a healthcare environment, ensuring that patient rooms, offices, common areas, restrooms, and food service areas remain clean, safe, and welcoming. You will perform routine and scheduled cleaning tasks, support infection control through thorough sanitization, and contribute to a positive experience for patients, visitors, and staff.

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily cleaning services in patient rooms, offices, common areas, restrooms, and food service areas to maintain a clean and orderly environment.
  • Complete scheduled cleaning tasks according to established routines and hygiene standards.
  • Handle floor care duties including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming in assigned areas.
  • Sanitize high-touch surfaces and fixtures to support infection control and safety standards.
  • Operate cleaning equipment and tools safely and correctly as needed for assigned tasks.
  • Replenish supplies such as paper products, soap, and other consumables in restrooms and other areas.
  • Follow all safety, health, and sanitation guidelines and report any hazards or maintenance issues promptly.
  • Interact professionally with patients, visitors, and staff, providing courteous and responsive customer service.
  • Report to work on time, maintain satisfactory attendance, and adhere to assigned schedules.
  • Perform other housekeeping and janitorial duties as assigned based on facility needs.
