Job description

This National Guard position is for a SHEET METAL MECHANIC (AIRCRAFT) (TEMP-INDEF) (TITLE 32), Position Description Number D1371000and is part of the 151 MXS located in Salt Lake City, with the Utah Air National Guard.
This vacancy is OPEN to current members of the National Guard, and members of the public willing to join the Utah Air National Guard.
The selecting supervisor for this vacancy is SMSgt Raymon Miller.

This is a Temporary-Indefinite Appointment

Qualifications:*Your resume must reflect in detail how the duties and responsibilities under each position you have held with each employer meets the below listed general and specialized experience required for the position.
**Must include beginning and ending dates of employment stated as MM/YYYY; and total hours worked per week in order to determine part time vs. full time credit.
GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Experience or training that has provided the candidate with the ability to plan, manufacture, and install cylindrical, square, or rectangular-shaped objects that have easily constructed fastenings such as single and double-hem edges and single, double or grooved seams, EXPERIENCE MUST INVOLVING AIRCRAFT SHEET METAL.
Specialized Experience WG-08 -
Have specialized experience that has provided the candidate with the ability to plan, manufacture, and install cylindrical, square, or rectangular-shaped objects that have easily constructed fastenings such as single and double-hem edges and single, double, or grooved seams, EXPERIENCE MUST INVOLVING AIRCRAFT SHEET METAL.
Specialized Experience WG-10 -
Have specialized experience in planning, layout, and construction skills to manufacture items and systems with dovetailed seams, set-in-bottom seams, burred-bottom seams, or wired or lock seams. Experience using more complicated shop tools and equipment. Experience in using metals including stainless steel, copper sheet, magnesium, honeycomb material and alloys. Experience demonstrating the use of more complicated mathematical calculations and complicated measuring instruments, EXPERIENCE MUST INVOLVING AIRCRAFT SHEET METAL Education:Not applicable for this position.Employment Type: OTHER
