STS Technical Services is hiring Aircraft Sheet Metal Mechanics in Lafayette, Louisiana.
STS Technical Services is seeking skilled Aircraft Sheet Metal Mechanics to support helicopter maintenance operations in Lafayette, Louisiana. In this role, you will inspect, repair, modify, and maintain helicopter structural components while supporting safe, compliant, and efficient maintenance operations.
Job Responsibilities
  • Inspect and evaluate helicopter fuselage, tail boom, and cowling structures for cracks, corrosion, and separation
  • Determine required repairs and materials using approved technical publications
  • Order replacement parts as needed
  • Perform modifications for special equipment installations
  • Fabricate repairs using hand tools and power tools in accordance with approved data
  • Perform riveting and bonding operations using approved data
  • Complete clerical duties including Ramco entries and aircraft logs
  • Provide guidance to uncertified technicians
  • Support company Safety Management System activities
  • Comply with company HS&E policies and procedures
