Front Desk Receptionist (Temporary)

Location: North King County, WA

Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Pay: Up to $28.00 per hour

Duration: Approximately 1–2 Months (with potential for extension based on business needs)

We are seeking a professional, customer-focused Front Desk Receptionist to provide temporary coverage for a busy public-facing office. This role serves as the first point of contact for visitors, residents, and callers, making it an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys helping others, staying organized, and managing multiple priorities throughout the day.

The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a welcoming demeanor, and the ability to maintain a high level of professionalism while supporting a variety of administrative functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer and direct incoming telephone calls in a professional and courteous manner
  • Greet visitors and assist with directing them to the appropriate department, counter, or staff member
  • Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders
  • Process light cashiering transactions, including accepting payments and issuing receipts
  • Sort, distribute, and manage incoming and outgoing mail
