Georgia Highlands College is a multi-campus, state college member of the University System of Georgia. Job Summary
This position provides cashiering support for the GHC business office ยฟ Student Financial Services.
Responsibilities
  • Is responsible to understand, support, and carry out the college's mission, vision, and values and comply with mandates and regulations of government and accrediting bodies
  • Receipts all payments to business office
  • Answers telephone and greets visitors; provides information and assistance; refers as appropriate to others
  • Processes all bank deposits
  • Manages petty cash reconciliations
  • Assists in billing of past due accounts
  • Maintains daily reports and bank deposit receipts
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications
  • Currently enrolled in a program of study at Georgia Highlands College. A business pathway is preferred.
  • Knowledge and level of competency commonly associated with the completion of a High School diploma or equivalent, while currently in a course of study related to the occupational field.
