Temporary Front Desk Receptionist- Mornings
Job Description:
The Front Desk Receptionist for Mercer's physical therapy clinic, Mercer Physical Therapy, will be responsible for administrative activities of the clinic under the supervision of the Clinic Director. Responsibilities include greeting and the signing in/out of patients/clients, answering clinic phone(s), collecting payments, maintaining cleanliness of front office area, assisting in cleaning of equipment and stocking patient care areas, and scheduling patients for initial and follow-up appointments. The Front Desk Receptionist will assist in verifying insurance benefits and authorizations, and other tasks as delegated by the Clinic Director or Department Chair.   • Ability to gain a working knowledge of the electronic medical record system used in the clinic.
  • Ability to gain a working knowledge of insurance verification and authorization processes.
  • Ability to clean equipment and organize laundry into treatment rooms daily.
  • Ability to maintain a tidy front office environment.

Pay Rate: $10.00/hour to $15.00/hour. Individuals with prior medical front office experience are eligible for higher pay range.
