Construction Foreman – Lead Civil and Industrial Infrastructure Projects


Job Overview:

  • Company: Kingsbury Companies, LLC
  • Salary/Pay Rate: $24.00 - $35.00 per hour
  • Location: Middlesex, VT and surrounding areas
  • Job/Employment Type: Full Time
  • Mandatory Licences & Certifications: Valid Driver's License, OSHA 30


The Opportunity: You will serve as a critical field leader and the key point of contact between the Superintendent and the field crew. This role gives you the autonomy to manage job sites, project schedules, and quality control while advocating for your team. You will have a direct hand in building a long-term career with a company that invests heavily in your professional growth and advanced technology.


How You Will Make an Impact:

  • Supervise, mentor, and coordinate field staff to ensure tasks are executed safely and efficiently.
  • Enforce strict company safety standards and serve as the job site competent person.
  • Read and interpret detailed construction drawings, specifications, schedules, and estimate productions.
  • Utilize Procore software to manage forms, inspections, daily logs, timesheets, and RFIs.
  • Maintain accurate line and grade while documenting as-built site conditions with survey data.
  • Resolve real-time on-site technical disputes and logistical issues to maintain tight project timelines.
  • Assume full operational responsibility for the job site during any temporary absences of the Superintendent.


Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Proven experience leading field crews and working independently within the construction industry.
  • Deep, comprehensive knowledge of heavy civil or industrial construction processes.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in reading construction drawings, estimates, blueprints, and schedules.
  • Practical experience maintaining line and grade and tracking detailed survey measurements.
  • Strong computer literacy with experience executing data entry in construction management software.
  • Active OSHA 30 certification and a valid Driver's License.


Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

  • Advanced proficiency navigating and managing workflows within Procore.
  • Background in tracking and reporting daily cost-coded time and production entries.
  • Documented success in managing civil project budgets and reducing job site rework.
  • Strong negotiation skills and a track record of resolving complex interpersonal team disputes.
