INVENTORY CONTROLLER

Automation Personnel Services is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Controller to support the team by managing packaging supplies and finished goods-related inventory. This position plays a critical role in ensuring that the production team has the right materials available and is primarily computer-based, with occasional hands-on responsibilities such as verifying supplies and conducting cycle counts in the storeroom and storage areas.
Pay Rate
$17.00 per hour

Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Inventory Controller Duties and Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate records of all supplies in the inventory system.
  • Monitor inventory levels and proactively coordinate replenishment of supplies.
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and assist in full physical inventories to ensure accuracy.
  • Collaborate closely with supervisors to forecast needs.
  • Generate reports, analyze usage trends, and identify opportunities to optimize inventory levels.
  • Work with purchasing and vendors to source parts efficiently and manage lead times.
  • Maintain proper labeling, organization, and housekeeping standards in the parts storage area.
  • Support administrative tasks within the maintenance department, including work order tracking and documentation.
Inventory Administrator Qualifications and Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
  • Experience working with inventory or parts management, preferably in a maintenance or shop environment.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Strong attention to detail and good time management.
  • Able to multi-task and handle a fast-paced workday.
  • Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
  • Willing to spend time both at a desk and out in the shop or parts room.
