Controller Opportunity | Construction Industry 

MGR Accounting Recruiters and Advisory is partnering with a growing construction company seeking an experienced Controller to join their leadership team.

Location: Far Northeast San Antonio Area (New Braunfels / San Marcos Corridor)

Work Arrangement: Full-Time, In-Office

Direct Hire Opportunity

What You'll Do:
  • Lead all accounting and financial operations for the organization
  • Manage month-end and year-end close processes
  • Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
  • Develop and maintain internal controls and accounting procedures
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to support strategic business decisions
  • Manage and mentor accounting staff
  • Coordinate audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance

7+ years of progressive accounting leadership experience

Recent Controller experience preferred

Construction industry accounting experience required

Strong understanding of job costing, WIP reporting, and project accounting

Advanced Excel skills

Proven leadership and communication abilities
