The Role
The Pharmacy Technician, Compounding will be part of all compounding operations on site. They will work closely with the rest of the compounding team to help build out operations, make compounded medications on a daily basis, and develop new ideas for the future. Based on business need, this role may also include prescription fulfillment responsibilities.

This posting is for our location in Boynton Beach, FL. This is a Full-time (40hr/wk) opportunity. It is a 6-month assignment to start with a potential to either extend or convert to a full-time role, based on business needs.
What You'll Do:
  • Compound prescription medications. This includes mixing and packaging orders, managing inventory, and ensuring a compliant, organized working environment
  • Work side by side with a pharmacist to ensure the safe, accurate, and timely compounding of medication
  • Follow best practices and Policies and Procedures to safely and effectively create compounded products under the supervision of the compounding manager/pharmacist
  • Receive medication and packaging deliveries and be able to lift up to 55lb boxes
  • Process prescription and OTC medication orders. This includes picking orders, packing orders for shipment, and ensuring an organized working environment
  • Troubleshoot order and shipping issues in partnership with the pharmacist, operations, and care teams
What You'll Bring to the Team:
  • Previous pharmacy or fulfillment experience
  • 1+ years of experience in a compounding role where you were responsible for compounded product preparation.
  • Working knowledge of the compounding process, best practices for formulations and procedures
  • Ability to lift up to 55lb boxes
  • Highly independent and autonomous
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of FL
  • Strong, metric-driven operator who works well in a team environment
